Good Stuff

We had another Craft Group today. It was so much fun! I don't know why I haven't done this sooner. We had a great group of ladies that were able to make it. It was great to let the kids play together and have  a chance to have some grown-up conversation.

Here are some of the things that were created today.

Stephanie was working on some File Folder games. They looked like so much fun. I am thinking I need to make some.

Sherri was getting caught up on some scrapbooking. I wish I had the motivation to scrapbook. That is just something I've never really gotten into. But maybe with the help of these ladies I can get some done this year.

Brandi was making cards. They turned out so cute. She is very creative. I'll have to start having her make all my cards.

And here is what I was working on. A pair of booties. They are not all the way done yet. Still have to attach the strap on the side. I was thinking with pink buttons, but I'm pretty sure I'll make some little flowers to go on the side instead. When they are done I'll put some pics.

All in all, a very successful group. It gets me more and more motivated to get projects done. We crafted, chatted, and had some lunch. What more could you ask for?

First Meeting

We had our first group today. We were small in numbers (only 2 of us) but it was still fun and productive. I got the project I was working on done. Brandi got quite a bit of hers done too. She is making it as a gift so I am not going to say what it is or post pictures just in case the recipient happens to check this. But here is a picture of mine. I made this for a friends little girl. I really like how it turned out. I think she'll like it.

I'm really excited for this group and all the things I am going to get done. Hopefully next time we can have a better turn out.

Introductions

We are going to start a craft group. It's mostly so we can finish all the U.F.O.'s  {un-finished objects} that we have stashed away. I for one have a ton. And there are a lot of other fun things to try. As of now we are going to meet every other week. That should give us enough time in between to either get really far on a project or completely forget about it until the night before we meet. Either way, we can work on it during the group. I am going to be taking pictures of the different projects that we all work on and posting them on here for all to see. 

So I hope that this gives me the motivation I need to get those boxes full of U.F.O.'s done. And I get to visit and have some social time for myself at the same time.
